Module Six Reflection

This module has helped me think about self-directed learners and the role of differentiation in the following ways:

I realize that transitioning into a student-centered classroom requires adjustments on both parts of the students and the teacher. I think it will take awhile to teach students the expectations of a student-centered classroom, but it will be beneficial. Students, on the other hand, will need to learn to take an active role in their own learning.

There are four ways that teachers can differentiate learning that I found interesting such as content, process, products, and the learning environment. Teachers also need to make sure to teach to all modalities and accommodate the needs for all learners using appropriate strategies.
