Unit Eight Reflection

Of everything I have learned, I think my introduction of my unit project will have the biggest impact on student learning. I have done projects before, but I had not been as well prepared as I feel I am with this one. I believe the initial set up of checklists, rubrics, and student samples has focused my unit more on the standards that I want the students to learn. In this way I can better guide or facilitate the students to become self-directed independent learners. I can't wait to find units that my fellow teachers have created and start using them. I am also excited to create more units to use. Yeah! I did it!
