Module Two Reflection
This module has helped me connect the standards, CFQ’s, and formative assessments together. It is more evident how all three of these concepts intertwine. Throughout this module, I focused on identifying my specific standards which lead me to creating my learning objectives for my students. Using the 21st Century Skills and higher-order thinking questions we, as teachers, can prepare a more comprehensive unit of study for our students.
From there, I focused on three types of questions: essential, unit, and content. This module also helped me focus on creating my essential question which is more of the global idea and working towards the more concrete content questions. Incorporating specific standards, CFQ’s and formal assessments allow our students to be open-minded and authentic learners.
