Module 4 Reflection
How can technology be used most effectively to support and assess student learning?
For starters…PATIENCE!! Secondly, I can’t help but think of the saying “don’t try to re-invent the wheel,” and maybe even more appropriately, “keep it simple stupid.” Oy, I mean in this unit, I did discover some “neat” ways of using technology to support student learning and assess progress as students move through the unit. The possibilities are limitless, and the kids love working on the computer with projects, but…like I’ve discovered too…FRUSTRATION sets in very easily which can definitely take you off track from where you want to go with it. Trial and error maybe is needed, or planning the particular unit over a longer period of time if allowable. My hope is, the more I “play” with these new discoveries the more confident/proficient I become I can feel comfortable in sharing with my students.
